Lek Sansom was the Chef/Patron of the Beau Thai Restaurant in Solihull which won many awards including the Birmingham Evening Mail Restaurant of the Year. After 11 successful years the restaurant was sold in 2005 and after a 2 year break Lek opened Silk Thai in Hall Green. In 2008 the Birmingham Mail rated this as serving the best Thai food in the west Midlands. Due to personal reasons this has now closed and Lek has resumed offering her renowned home service which proved very popular in the periods when not running her restaurants. Lek prepares all your choices before arriving at your house where she will cook, wait on table and clear and wash up for you leaving no trace of her visit.
The dishes in the menu reflect the most popular dishes enjoyed by guests over the years but if you have any special requests such as Sea Bass or Duck dishes all you need do is to ask.
